Interactivity is the USP of the internet. No other media allows users to interact with its content to such a degree.
The elements of a website that allow interactivity are known as applications (or apps). Applications are the bits of a website that deliver its functionality. Without them the Internet is just a publishing medium. With them you have the chance to interact, engage and transact with your customers.
Applications may be simple, or they may be complex. Technology businesses are always after the "killer app", the one that customers can't live without. Many of the best applications are simple: Google is a search application, Your Tube is a video sharing application, MySpace is a networking application, Amazon is a shop application and eBay is an auction application. All of these are easy to replicate on a small scale, it is the size of these beasts that sets them apart.
BarnesGraham's in-house technical team has the expertise to develop a wide range of applications from a simple form (or data collection exercise) to shops, from publishing tools to games. Most of our applications are developed in-house, but we are happy to work with available technology when it can deliver a better result for our client.
